Harmonised consumer price index seen at -0.3% in April

The harmonised consumer price index dropped in April 0.3 per cent compared to the respective month of 2017 mainly on cheaper industrial products, the statistical service said.

In January to April, the annual harmonised inflation rate was minus 0.6 per cent, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Wednesday.

Compared to March, prices for consumers and tourists in Cyprus rose 1.1 per cent in April, Cystat said.
